So indy_go and I watched Sherlock last night, and -- it gave me thoughts! I really, really enjoyed it: it was intense in the way that Trainspotting is, in that you're so exhausted at the end that it seems much longer than 90 minutes.

My thoughts will surprise no one who knows me. ( Spoilers within, and probably in the comments too. )

I am trying to disengage with politics and everything in the world that's making me jaw-clenchingly furious this week. Unfortunately, there's quite a lot of it. Note: This started as a ramble on one thing, and then it morphed into something totally different and way bigger. I sometimes come to conclusions in the process of writing them out, so these thoughts might not be fully formed yet.
